I CAN’T ACTIVATE MY PLUGIN (NOT VALID)?
If your login data works on my website (philspeiser.com/my-account) but the activation fails please check if your password contains any special characters. (!,”@…). If so please change your password so it only contains numbers and letters. Please also restart your computer to make sure the old password is not “hanging” in the cache. Some systems might get confused by the special characters and the validation fails.
WHAT’S MY PASSWORD?
After completing your first order a user account will be automatically generated.
The username is the email address you entered during checkout.
After completing the first order you have the chance to set a password. If you skip it… no problem you will receive an email with a password reset link. Click on the link and follow the steps.
You can also always go to philspeiser.com/my-account enter your email address and click on “Lost your password?”.
I DON’T RECEIVE ANY EMAILS FROM YOUR WEBSITE
If you don’t find emails like order confirmation or password reset instructions in your Inbox please check your SPAM or JUNK folder and if you find them in there please whitelist my email address so this doesn’t happen again.
If you don’t find the emails you should have received at all – please get in touch with me via the chat function on this page.

HOW DO I OPEN THE PLUGINS?
Audio Plugins are not standalone software that you will find in your application folder – they need music software like Ableton Live, Logic, FL Studio, GarageBand… to host them.
If you haven’t used external plugins in your DAW before here are some links that will get you started:
LOGIC PRO / GARAGE BAND (Please note that virtual instruments like THE_INSTRUMENT will be found as AU Instruments not AU effects)
WHERE DOES THE INSTALLER STORE MY PLUGINS?
On Windows the installer will place the VST3,VST and AAX files in the recommended default locations:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
C:\Program Files \Common Files\VST2
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
On Mac it will place the VST3, VST(if selected) AU and AAX in the recommended default locations:
/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3
/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST2
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins
In 99% of the cases you don’t need to worry about this because by default all DAW’s / music software will search those locations.
